Ohhh man! The VMA's this year are awesome so far. Shakira and Wyclef just performed Hips Don't Lie. She is the only woman who honestly looks fantastic in pink. I'm jealous.. seeing Puddle of Mudd was.. interesting. It was a band I never really had interest in, and never expected to see in concert - seeing as they recently fell off the face of the earth and I hated them when they were popular, but I liked the concert... and it was free... and the lead singer looked adorable when danced. Lol. They played all their really popular songs; They opened with Away from Me, and they also performed Blurry, She Hates Me, Control. So that was cool. There a LOT of people there, lol. That was unexpected. I made William stay for their encore, where they played She Hates Me. hahaha He wasn't too happy.. he really wanted to beat the drunken traffic - which we did, cause he walks 9,000 mph. I had to run to catch up with him, lol. Anyway though.. I love concerts. I could even watch a band that I hate and enjoy it, lol. I don't know. i'm way tired though... gnight =)

everyone got their yearbooks today, hoorah! well, I didn't. I never know when or how to order them. haha. Anyway though, Whitney's thingy in the back of the yearbook was gahhh. It talked about our late night raves and trips to "the ocean", haha. Those are the only specifics I remember, but it mentioned other fun things we did too. anyway though, it definitely got me emotional. I miss her a lot and I wish all of this stupid girl drama never existed. That was the only one I got to read, lol, cause Katie pointed it out to me. But yeah. gaw.

After a week of anticipation, I finally got my AE Boyfriend Jeans. Gah, they are glorious. Butt buttons, vintage wash and all. So sexy. I got another pair of jeans, too, but they don't quite match up to the Boyfriend Jeans, which make every girl look like a supermodel. I got 3 shirts.. grey, black, and bluishgreenish, cause I'm exciting. all v-neck, hoorah!?! and a black tank top. Hooray!

Last night I bought The Natalie Portman dvd collection, too. I'm pretty excited about that. I got Where the Heart is, Anywhere but Here, and GARDEN STATE!!!! for $20. So yeah, that's pretty awesome. Garden State is the best movie on the planet. Totally. Completely. No doubt about it.

Heather gave me a ride home today... lol I went to the doctor's office with her first, though. She had to get some shots haha. I'm glad to be bonding with Heather again, even if she does have a rather low IQ. I texted Andy when I woke up - I'm used to it, it's like a habit. He sucks at texting, lol, he rarely texts back unless he's really bored. But anyway, I texted him and told him I missed him a lot, and he called me while i was at the doctor's office. =] It cheered me up. It felt like I hadn't talked to him in a really long time, but he called me on Tuesday night... lol. aw. Hooray for Andy.
Mrs. Smith didn't lock me out today. I'm glad I didn't have to punch her. Did I mention that I had the worst schedule in America? I don't any classes with my friends (1 with Paola & Katie, none with Kristen, Sarah, Logan, David C, or David H - lol, yes those are seriously my only friends). The classes are full of the obnoxious trashy kids. I have US History with Cain Mitchell - I'd rather die. I think everyone knows how I feel about him. Freshmen year I told him I hated him and couldn't bare to look at his face because he was so useless. I guess I'm kind of a jerk, but at least I got the point across. If Mr. Wilder didn't turn in my drop/add form, I'm gonna go Hulk on him, cause I need out of English 3 AP. lol. Marshall choked me when I told him I was dropping. I really, really want to have Marshall as a teacher... just not for AP! Gah. I'm dropping down to normal English 3, cause I don't feel like challenging myself at all this year. Haha, hooray for Mrs. Green!! My only "challenging" class is Spanish 3 Honors, which won't be so challenging because Paola is in there with me. So, if I need help, I can just go to the native speaker in the class, who just so happens to be a very good friend of mine. hoorah.

yeeeeep. Holla. School starts tomorrow. I didn't do any work all summer, and it was amazing. lol I tried to read Huck Finn during work yesterday, but I kept getting distracted. Richard offered to read to me, but when he picked up the book and saw "Nigger Jim" he got so weak that he was unable to continue. Hahaha. Aw, I'm going to miss Richard a lot. Who the heck is supposed to make me laugh for 5 hours straight at work now? =[ Hope is gone already, too. They were definitely my favorite people at the theater. Anywho. Hanging out with Jes and William after work last night made me emotional. It was the last time we're ever going to have a bonding experience like that. I may sound overdramatic, but it's true. After William goes off to college, we are going to drift apart. It's inevitable. It doesn't mean we won't be friends, but it's going to be different. And last night we had so much fun.. It felt amazing outside, it was lightening and windy and we went to the playground. we swung and laughed all night. swinging haha. We groped William and took tons of pictures of us doing stupid things. Lol. We drove downtown with HelloGoodbye blasting and the sunroof open and aahhh it just felt perfect.
It's too bad I suck at writing, otherwise, I could've made that sound even more amazing than it was. But it really hit me hard, like, we're never going to have another one of these perfect nights, you know?
By January, Jes is going to be gone too. Everything is changing so quickly. This time last year I was just wishing everything would speed up so I could get through highschool and move along to college.. but now I would give anything to relive it one more time. Gosh, I didn't even know Jes this time last year! Haha. aw. I thank God every day for all of the amazing things I've been able to see, the people I've met, everything I have. Kentucky is so ghetto. We don't even get half of those movies in any theater here in KY. Little Miss Sunshine is only playing in 1 theater in Louisville, Scoop in 1 theater in Louisville and 1 in Lexington, aaand yeah. grrr. I haven't seen a really good movie in a while. the last fantastic movie i saw was Dear Frankie, and that was about a month or so ago.
School starts on Wednesday. Gaw, kill me. This summer went by really, really quickly. I guess I'm ready to go back, but I haven't done much of my work... at all. I think I'll be able to finish it by Wednesday morning though lol. I hope so, at least. I gotta read 2 books and do a ton of work. Hahah. I really don't have anything to say. I dreamt that I went to an All-American Rejects concert with Emily. I think that's her name, I'm not really sure. haha, she's one of William's friends. But yes, it was a good dream. I was the only one who knew the words at the concert, lol, and there were only like, 50 people there. They sang Can't Take It, then William called. twice. and woke me up. And I was not a very happy kid, because it was a great dream.
I have really gotten into The Format lately. They're close to being a new favorite band. They are definitely awesome, and I suggest you check them out. I listened to them several months ago, but then I only liked one of their songs then. I actually hated the majority of what I heard back then, but I've been listening to everything, and love every single song I hear now. My music taste has changed like crazy. Everytime I get stuck on a new band all of my favorites start switching up genres and everything, haha.

I watched Dear Frankie, The Mexican, and Grosse Point Blank today. They were all fantastic, but Dear Frankie was probably my favorite. I cried at least 4 different times during the movie. You bet I did. It was depressing. The Mexican and Grosse Point Blank were really funny, though. Brad Pitt knows how to put on one heck of a comedic performance. I guess. and John Cusack always rocks my world. I'm going to watch Mallrats after I finish this entry. I've seen it before though, so I'm not so pumped to see it.
Oh my word. Last night... MOVE ALONG DIDN'T COME ON VH1. What.The.Heck. I can't even begin to describe how I felt! I have watched Nocturnal State every night for the past 2 and 1/2 weeks, and Move Along has come on during some time between 3:00am and 6:00am. It didn't last night. I was so confused. It might've been because some random thing about U2 came on at 4:30am, and its usually Nocturnal State 3 - 6am. It was just a big shock. Haha. I was hurt.
Wow, this is the most pointless blog entry in America. I'm okay with that, though. Nobody but Derek is reading it. Actually, Derek probably isn't even reading it. Hahaha. Woohoo I'm just typing away and basically talking to myself!
So. Whitney and I are talking again. That's good. It took a couple weeks, but we're back to.. I guess, normal friends status. We haven't hung out since my birthday, but now that we've started talking like normal human beings do as of 3 days ago or so, I feel good about it. JES comes back tomorrow! Ow ow! We slumber partied all the time and hung out almost everyday and then, poof, she vanished for 2 weeks and now she's returning tomorrow. I am exciiiited! We are definitely going to find a way to make it out to Santa Barbara to check out our college (score) and vacation, probably over Fall Break. Well, if we have the money, we will go. I'm sure she will - she only has 30 minuts of schooling every day, and the rest is free for work. lol. yuck, I don't know what I'm going to do when she graduates. I don't have any other friends, really. Haha, I'm such a loser. I have friends, just not ones that I really hang out with.
Hm. I need to go get my permit. I think I'm going to go bother my parents until they take me to go get that permit book.. thingy... Hahaha I'm going to be on the road soon, hoo ha!
