I haven't had a real update in a while.
So I went to the John Mayer concert last night. It was incredible! Brittany and I kinda had sucky seats, but I'm thankful that I got to go. He is so talented. He sounds even better live than he does on cd or anything. He voice is really beautiful.. and he uses it a lot more on stage than he does in his singles and stuff. He's also really funny.. lol he likes to joke around with the audience. Basically, I'm in love. He is amazing. :] Some people we knew talked to some lady out in the lobby before the show and she was asking them, like, "So what's your favorite song?" and "If you could sit anywhere, where would you want to sit?" So they come in, and they're sitting behind us.. note that we're in the balcony, haha. We're pretty far back. Anywho, this lady comes in and gets them and is like "You're going to the first row!" .............
I've never been so jealous in my life. Haha. It was ridiculous.. I was so envious! Then he came out and I see them jump up and take pictures and all this stuff and ohhhhh grrrr, yeah, I definitely cried. I can't help it.. I looove Johnny MayMay and I'm emotional. haha. Oh well, it was still really awesome. His best song? Vultures... definitely. It's the catchiest song I've ever heard. Go listen to it now!
I forgot to mention that John Mayer is, without a doubt, the absolute sexiest man in the entire universe.
what else... hmmm. A month and like, 9 days?? or something, until I go to CA :] I'm pretty excited. Jes is really excited too! She says she's beginning to hate Santa Barbara cause her roommates suck and no one there has a sense of humor, haha. So I'm pumped to go cheer her up for 10 days. it will be a jolly time. I guess that's really all I have to say though...
Listen to more John Mayer. I demand it.

I have been listening to a lot of "Mika" lately. He is an interesting guy.. he has a single called, "Grace Kelly." It's getting kinda big, maybe you've heard it? I've fallen in love with this man! haha. He is a gorgeous Jim Morrison look-alike, and his voice very closely resembles that of Freddie Mercury's. He plays a lot of glam-rock/Europop stuff..very upbeat and fun-loving. Its really different from most of the stuff on the radio and whatnot, but surprisingly MTV took the chance to play his "Grace Kelly." well I'm definitely a huge fan of him now. His vocal range is insane, I can't even hit most of the notes he does. But other than his crazy dance pop, his slower songs are really amazing.. "Any Other World," is my favorite by him.. it's beautiful, and I love the lyrics. Some of them are..

It's 3 am... I just looked outside and it's surprisingly bright.
The sky is mostly clear, but has some clouds scattered here and there. There are a few really bright stars shining, and the snow is glistening in the moonlight. It looks like the entire world is just resting... everything seemed to stop. It's one of the most breathtaking views I've ever seen. It makes me feel so calm and at peace with myself and everything around me. I wish this scene could last forever. I haven't felt like this in so long. I am just so.. content. It's an amazing feeling.
I wish I could just go outside and take it all in.. but I probably shouldn't; I'm still pretty sick. I wish I had someone to enjoy it with, too. I wish William could be home right now.. I know he'd appreciate it as much as I do. That's one thing I admire and love about him.. he can just sit back and appreciate life.

well, i'm still sick.
Since I was with Rachel so much of her break, and we shared drinks and chapstick, we assume we have the same thing because we also got very sick at the same time, and we have all of the same symptoms and all that good stuff.
Well, she went to the doctor at Western... and he told her that she had mono. Then she gets home, goes to the doctor here, and shes like, "What? No, you don't have mono. You have bronchial pneumonia!" haha so apparently I have that.
Guhhh.
Youtube has been my source of entertainment and connection to the world for the past 2 weeks. Yaaay!

A friend of mine posted a blog on facebook. She feels the same way I do about Kentucky... and the way she put it into words really made me realize why I hate it here so much.
she wrote, "I want a lot out of life and nothing is for me here. I feel like im wasting away sometimes."
thats exactly it. I feel like there is nothing exciting left here. I'm tired of it.. I need something new. Even though I'm not one who is fantastic with change, I know that it's what i absolutely need. I am not a boring person, believe it or not, and I constantly need things to amuse me. Everything here is just worn out. You know, maybe it's just Frankfort. Maybe it would even be okay just to move to Lexington. I'm not sure anymore. I want to get out and explore life and experience everything it has to offer.
